Beyond the LCS: 2000 A.D. Webshop

I don't know if it's exactly a secret in the US, but all those 2000 A.D. and Treasury of British Comics titles listed in Diamond's PREVIEWS Catalog are usually available months earlier on the 2000 A.D. Webshop. Early bird sales and exclusive Deluxe editions can also be found there. Though based in the UK, they ship worldwide. They also offer digital editions of many of their titles which are available instantly (I've been a digital subscriber to 2000 A.D. magazine for nearly three years, and have bought a few specials also. They are very easy to download and read). Here are a couple titles coming in 2023 I'm considering purchasing:

THE 2000 A.D. ART OF KEVIN O'NEILL: APEX EDITION product page

This is on sale for a limited time for a little over a hundred dollars! This collection of original art images from one of the most original artists to ever work in comics is one I'm really looking forward. Below is a list of 2000 A.D.-centric pages included in the book, spanning the 45 year history of the magazine.

A VERY BRITISH AFFAIR: THE BEST OF CLASSIC ROMANCE COMICS product page

Look at that color printing! Spotlights some rarely seen work from familiar Spanish artists and women cartoonists in the UK. Another welcome effort from David Roach!

Comics Haul: Black Friday Special

Krypton Comics of Omaha was having a 30% off sale, and my mission if I chose to accept it was getting this beast:
Checking out the expensive Warren SPIRIT MAGAZINE selection, I came across this cheap Kitchen Sink one:
Tucked in that same box was, inexplicably, this issue of the UK STAR LORD from 1978! WTF? Here's a few interior pages by some familiar names:

Cover by (above METALZOIC artist) the late Kevin O'Neill:
Future HEAVY METAL artist Azpiri...
Future WATCHMEN co-creator, Dave Gibbons...
Carlos Ezquerra STRONTIUM DOG in color...
A random Redondo, not sure which one...
The late Ian Kennedy painting in gray tones (the last page in color)...

Going across the parking lot to Half Price Books, this legacy anthology was on the shelf:
I would say 90%, if not all, classic comic strip reprint projects that followed were inspired by this collection. Just look at the cover alone, there's only two pictured that haven't had the complete series reprinted.
